Management Support
LVNJ conducts 6 regional management meetings each year for staff members of our affiliated programs. These meetings provide a forum for discussing topics of mutual concern and sharing best practices.

Financial Support
LVNJ provides grants to member programs so they can serve more students.

Toll Free Literacy Hotline (800-848-0048)
Our office maintains a toll free literacy hotline and refers hundreds of prospective tutors and students to local literacy programs throughout New Jersey each year.

Development of New Instructional Materials
LVNJ has created a new streamlined curriculum that prepares volunteers to tutor both Basic Literacy and English as a Second Language students. Literacy organizations in 21 states have adopted this 15 hour training model.

Our Tutoring with Technology resource guide is designed for tutors who wish to teach computer skills or integrate computer technology into their tutoring sessions.

Accreditation Support
All members of the LVNJ network must be fully accredited by ProLiteracy America. LVNJ provides financial and administrative support to each program in our network to assist them in completing the accreditation process.
